I’m a theoretical ecologist, creating models to better understand ecosystems. In particular, I’m modelling and analysing spruce budworm outbreaks, to help us build better (simpler) models that can help with management.
I started a postdoctoral position at the Northern Forestry Centre (CFS, NRCan) working on reclamation and climate change of boreal forest.
I defended my PhD thesis on September 15th 2017 at UQÀM, Space-time interactions in forest metacommunities. Thanks to my supervisors Pedro Peres-Neto and Dominique Gravel and the committee members!
I participated in the Climate Induced Range-Shifts in Boreal Forest Pests workshop, july 2016 and was interviewed by local media.
